Always enough blood

THE PROPHECY OF UNBROKEN BONES

“He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken.”
— Psalm 34:20

A DEAD BODY & UNBROKEN BONES

“Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out… For these things were done that the scriptures should be fulfilled, ‘Not one of His bones shall be broken.’”
— John 19:32 – 34 & 36

WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT

Blood is produced in the bones by the marrow. Because None of Jesus’ bones were broken his body could still produce blood.

AN UNENDING STREAM OF HIS BLOOD & UNENDING GRACE FOR ME.

It means that there is always enough blood. No matter what you’ve done or where you’ve gone, there’s always enough blood for you and for me. When we are tempted to believe the lie that we are too far gone, we must remind ourselves what Paul says in (Romans 5:20) “where sin abounds, grace abounds much more.” Where there is bone, there is blood.
