"But He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weakness, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am made strong." - 2 Corinthians 12:9-11
MY PURPOSE: I serve in the High school ministry because Christ has shown great mercy and grace in my life, and I want to open the eyes of the high schoolers, for them to see how Christ has done the same in their lives. I am passionate about serving those that are younger than me so that we may grow in Christ together. My prayer is that we, as a body, learn how to allow Christ to love us so that we can effectively love others. My hope is that each of the high schoolers have a thorough understanding of Christ's love for them, and how through His love, we can change the world around us.
FAVORITE MEMORY: My favorite memories in the ministry center around watching the high schoolers actually begin to understand Christ's love for them. I love to see that light bulb go off in their heads, and watch them become amazed of the Gospel. I love to see their own personal relationships with Christ then develop, and watch them grow spiritually as they grow physically. Those are certainly my favorite memories.
